Escape to the Big Island of Hawaii for the perfect vacation get-away. Our unit is located on the Kona side of the island, where it rains a lot less. Kona Makai Condominiums are located 1.5 miles south of Kailua-Kona village. From our unit you get a gorgeous direct ocean view and breeze. Here, you can either sit on the lanai, swim at the pool, or try out many exciting activities in the area.

Some of the activities include hanging-out at the beach or pool, viewing water falls, hiking in the jungle or lava fields, visiting coffee plantations, golfing, fishing, dining at a luau or parasail. There are so many activities to participate in or beautiful sights to see on the Big Island!

Our favorite snorkel area is just 3 miles south on Alii Drive at Kahaluu Beach. A coral barrier reef provides smooth waters abundant with fish and turtles. Restrooms, picnic benches, showers and lifeguard make this the ideal swimming hole.

Also nearby is scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, biking, sailing, great beaches, and the City of Refuge National Historic Area. In addition you can visit Volcanoes National Park, rain forests, beautiful waterfalls, orchid and macadamia farms. Many outstanding golf courses are on the island.

Head to town north on Alii Drive and enjoy the many shops and restaurants and historical points of interest. The pier is the start of many enjoyable ocean activities including fishing, sailing, and parasailing.

This tiled one bedroom, one bath unit can sleep 2 to 4 people, has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, cable TV, high speed wireless internet, DVD/VCR, and air conditioning. Our remodeled condo has all new appliances.

Barbeque, Pool, Spa, exercise rooms, tennis courts, mostly shaded parking and lush landscaping are all part of this gated complex.
